Emma turned 8 on June 24, but we saved the big party for the 28th, the day we baptized her. David and I felt bitter-sweet about it because she's our last one to get baptized.

I haven't checked your blog in a few weeks. Happy Birthday to the girls! I wish we knew them better. One of these years, we need an excuse to get together that isn't at a funeral... I love the cupcake cake idea. I need to do that for Abby's birthday in Sept. I love reading about your family adventures on the blog!
