Family pictures

We had some family pictures done a few weeks ago. My friend Kelly from work took them and I think she did an awsome job!
To see some more pictures go to www.facebook.com/gr00vychick then go to photos.

Spring Break

We had Spring Break the last couple of weeks and did some fun things, but I'm so glad all the kids are back in school now! What am I going to do over summer?!

------------------------------

We went to the Renaissance Festival. That was fun, I think even David had more fun than he thought he would.

The girls and I had fun at the Phoenix Zoo.

Curtis is on his high school baseball team, so David's been practicing with him. Curits is playing really good for his team.

Seven Things

I've seen this on several blogs and thought it was fun, so here goes.

Seven things I can do:
1. Cook good dinners for my family.
2. Laugh easily
3. Get into a good book and ignore housework until I'm done.
4. Sew and crochet.
5. I love to "catch babies" at work. (I get handed a brand spaken new baby and dry, clean and make sure the baby is ok and answer a million questions from the new daddy.)
6. I know what to do if the baby is not ok.
7. I know how to get a baby to latch on to mom's boob.

Seven things I cannot do:
1. sing
2. Make cookies without burning the last batch.
3. watch baseball on TV.
4. understand teenagers.
5. Sleep with kids (even mine) in the bed with me.
6. Tolerate ignorance.
7. Eat chocolate without getting a headache.

Seven thing I say the most:
1. Where's Curtis?
2. Clean the bathroom/kitchen/bedroom, etc.
3. Did you clean the bathroom/kitchen/bedroom, etc?
4. Food ( to answer the question, "what's for dinner?"
5. Text Curtis and see where he is.
6. How many weeks is she? Is her water broken? Is it clear? GBS?
7. Are you going to breast feed or bottle feed?

Seven goals for new year:
1. buy a house.
2. spend more time with the kids, just hanging out.
3. pay more stuff off.
4. pray more.
5. Show more love to my family.
6. Eat better.
7. Find more good books to read.

Seven reasons I fell in love with David:
1. He makes me laugh.
2. He accepts me for who I am.
3. He accepts everyone for who they are.
4. He is the kindest man I know.
5. He works so hard for us.
6. I knew he would be a great Daddy, and I was right!
7. He always makes me feel like a queen.

On the way to Utah

Waiting in the Yukon while Dad puts air in the tires.
Jeremy and his candy/gel stuff. Whatever.

Snow ball fight! This was in front of a gas station somewhere in Utah.

Once we got to Pleasant Grove, we of course had to drive by the Purple Turtle.

worn out from Christmas

I thought this was sweet. I came downstairs the day after Christmas and found Emma sleeping with the cat next to some of the Christmas toys. Maybe a little too much excitement?

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

I know I've been behind on my blog, but I now have a new camera so I'll have more pictures to put up and hopefully I'll stay more up to date. Hope everyone's Christmas was wonderful! We have much to be grateful for this year.

My sister moved down the street from us, and Emma had fun making a gingerbread house with her and her cute girls.

This is what I woke up to on Christmas Eve afternoon in my loft. I thought fort days were over....apparently not.

Of course Santa had to bring Guitar Hero World Tour.
David had fun singing while Jeremy and Curtis rocked on the drums and guitar.
My dad and Tyler at my sister Julie's, we had some great food! I think my favorite part of the Holidays.

Curtis and my little brother Brian.

We went to Barrows to eat pizza on Christmas Eve with Tim and his family. Briahnna is getting so big.

My sister Jenny was able to come to dinner, it was good to see her.

Me and my adorable niece, Ella.

This is what David got to do while the rest of us watched a movie Christmas night.

Emma's costume saga.

Ok, so I like to make the girl's costumes for Halloween every year (the boys have grown out of it :( ...) and so we went to JoAnn's because stupid Walmart closed their fabric section. Emma picked out a costume, but they were out of that pattern, so she picked another one that looked cute. Madison decided that we would dye her baptism dress black and she would be a witch. So we get home with all the stuff and I looked more closely at the pattern for Emma's costume and I thought ohh @#^&$! Very detailed... I should have figured it out when I was having to buy all these beaded ribbons and stuff. Anyway I finally got it done last night....
Madison's dress, of course wasn't the right fabric to dye, but we got lucky and found a beautiful princess dress at a consignment store by our house that she loves. Yea!
